| RUGBY AT THE OLD RUTLISHIANS | |||
The Old Ruts Rugby Club was formed in 1923 as part of the Old Boys Association of Rutlish School, which was set up in 1906. Originally only allowing ex pupils to join, however recently membership was opened for all to join. We currently run 3 Senior sides a Vets side and we run a highly successful Junior and Minis section. The Old Ruts 1st XV currently plays in Surrey County Division 2, and the 2nd XV play in the London Merit Table
Our club plays/has played some big teams at home and abroad at all age levels including Harlequins, London Scottish, London Irish, Richmond, Saracens, Wasps, Biggar (Scotland), Cork Constitution (Ireland), Vagabonds (Isle of Man), Grenoble (France), Donagadhee (Northern Ireland), Clermont Ferrand (France), Treviso (Italy) amongst a host of other clubs Last Year saw 3 of our Junior sides promoted This season the club will be running sides able to accomodate players aged from 6-100 of any ability |
